If you are hiring equipment to perform any lifting operation’s you have two options: to hire and manage the lift yourself CPA or Contract Lift. CPA hire is where the organisation hiring you and the equipment takes full responsibility for the lifting operations.
To hire and manage, there must be someone in your organisation that has knowledge, experience and understanding of lifting operations – the person appointed to be in control of the lifting operations or an appointed person.
For clients that have no knowledge, experience or understanding of lifting operations, your only option is
a Contract Lift, where the hired organisation will take responsibility for the lifting operation with their own appointed persons. Our Appointed Persons are CPCS or ALLMI (Lifting Operations) qualified with a several year’s experience in Lorry loaders and Mobile Cranes who can cover all your needs.
All our contract lifting is carried out in full compliance with the two key current standards:
- The newly-revised BS7121 standard on Safe Use of Cranes and Lorry Loaders
- LOLER – Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regulations.

We offer a fast and reliable service upon your instruction to carry out site-specific survey. On completion our Appointed Persons will produce a Lift Plan ensuring the task as been properly planned and covers all your H&S Compliance needs, reducing the chances of aborted deliveries and saving you time and money.
